Appin used the methodology of Social networking, Advance E-mail Interception and Advanced & intelligent cyber spying and showed loopholes of both personal and professional emails by gaining an access and then spreading the control to the network and showing that it's possible to intercept sensitive data including stories. Appin's team also demonstrated to the CEO using a botnet as to how a competitor would access their servers live and later on help them secure and monitor security.

Central investigation agencies because of the emerging threats of cyber stalking and cyber threats used the services provided by the Appin.
